In addition, the lightness of the board and the high proportion of fossil-free energy used in production at the Husum mill offer opportunities to reduce the carbon footprint of packaging.
The board is manufactured at Metsä Board's Husum mill in Sweden and cut into sheets at the company's sheeting center in the Netherlands, enabling fast and predictable sheet sizes to be produced to customer specifications.
